Connected, yet lonely
Blake Brouillette is a missionary with Christ in the City out of Denver, Colorado. Christ in the City is an organization of college-aged missionaries who go to the streets & encounter the poorest of the poor in the homeless. He is originally from Nebraska & graduated college two years ago, where he was a pole vaulter on the track team. His favorite saints are St. Teresa of Calcutta, John Paul II, St. Monica, and St. Joseph; favorite Bible verse is Matthew 6.25-34!
Blake delivered the talk on Saturday morning.With the title: “Connected, yet lonely”, he explored the relation between loneliness and sin. During his talk, he shared about his experience working with homeless people in Denver and how that helped him to discover his own brokenness and need for reconciliation.
